This winter we had the pleasure of playing for a Fontana Chamber Arts “Crybaby” concert. Fontana is a series that both Andrew and I not only attend regularly but also respect and admire for its adventurous programming and super high quality performers. The Saturday morning that we played was a typical blistery Michigan day in January. We were surprised to see so many families bring their children to come and see us. We started the fun program with tango, vals, and milonga while the kids went crazy dancing circles in front of us! We also played some originals and by the end I busted out my African tambin as well as my Native American flute.
Thanks to all the brave parents and to Fontana for having us!
